How good was the Bush operation in Missouri? Consider this fact: 55,000 volunteers worked at least one three-hour shift in the final 72 hours of the campaign. The vast majority of BC04 volunteers worked multiple three-hour shifts.

Roughly 1,452,000 Missourians voted for President Bush. The volunteer to voter ratio was 1 to 26.
