There will be an avalanche of Reagan rememberances and obits in the days to come. Forthcoming pieces by Peggy Noonan, George Will, Garry Wills and Edmund Morris will be the ones to read. For now, Lou Cannon's obit is superb. No one (in the press) knew him better or covered his political career more thoroughly.

Reagan was an enormous political figure. And a gracious man. He will be long remembered and beloved.
