Obama on 60 Minutes

The great thing about President-elect Barack Obama is that he's boring. He cares about college football. He wishes he could go for a walk. He finesses questions about his in-laws. He got sand-bagged on the dog. He's one of us.

And, of course, he's not. Sen. Obama reminds me of Tiger Woods in the way his "normalcy" so easily co-exists with his extraordinary talent. Let's hope he plays the game as well as Tiger plays golf. It would be a good thing if he did. He got off to a smashing start on "60 Minutes" tonight.
