At the end of last year, my friend Ben Smith informed me that he was creating a politics vertical at a website called Buzzfeed. He asked me if I would be willing to write for the site from time to time. I said: "sure."

So here's the second "column" I've written to date. The basic thesis is that major media are switching to zone coverage and that that's bad news for everyone except Romney.

The first column, in case you missed it, argued that Romney should use all of his resources to bury Gingrich in South Carolina and Florida. He didn't and then he did.
