Fargo Says No

The North Dakota vote on "opt out" (a system within which your financial/personal data can be downstreamed by financial institutions unless you specifically "opt out") was a massacre. Dakotans voted 73%-27% against "opt out," dismissing as ridiculous the financial services sector's argument that defeat of the measure would be bad for business in North Dakota. The amazing thing is that anyone was suprised by the result (the vote had been hyped as "close").
